Crust:
5 tbsp butter or margarine
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
1/4 cup pecans

Filling:
1/2 cup sugar
1 - 8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Crust:
Cream butter and brown sugar; add flour and pecans and mix well. Set aside 1 cup for topping. Press remaining in bottom of 8 x 8 x 2 in. pan. Bake at 350 degrees 12 to 15 minutes.

Filling:
Blend sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Beat well. Spread on bottom crust, sprinkle with remaining 1 cup topping. Bake additional 20 - 25 minutes. Cool, then chill and cut into squares.
