1 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbls milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cream of tartar
3/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon mixed together.

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter or margarine, sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla. Beat well. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Mix into creamed mixture. Shape into 1 inch balls.
Place sugar and cinnamon mixture in a small bowl and roll balls in the mixture. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 400 for 8 to 10 minutes.
