6 egg whites
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. lemon rind
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
6 egg yolks
2/3 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup sifted flour
1-1/4 cup grapenuts cereal
1 qt. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites till foamy & then add first cup sugar. Continue beating to the soft peak stage.

In another bowl, add lemon rind to butter & cream well. Add second cup sugar gradually. Then add egg yolks & beat well, add lemon juice. Turn the mixer to low & add flour, cereal & milk. Mix well.

Fold the cereal mix into the beaten egg whites.

Pour into a buttered 9x13" pat. Set the pan into larger pan containing water. Bake @ 350 for 45 min.
