3 eggs, separated 1 2/3 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. soda 1 1/2 c. flour, sifted 1 T. sugar 1 tsp. salt 3 T. soft butter 3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Beat 3 egg yolks well with rotary beater. Beat in buttermilk and soda. Sift together flour, sugar and salt. Add to mixture. Beat in soft butter. Fold egg whites into mixture. Leftover batter will keep in the refrigerator for the next day.
