Cream together:
2 cubes butter
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c sugar
2 egg yolks (keep whites)
1 T. water

Add:
2 c flour
1/4 tsp baking soda

Have ready:
6 oz chocolate chips
1/2 c chopped walnuts
2 egg whites
1 c brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream together first group of ingredients above.

2. Add flour and baking soda to combined ingredients.

3. Spread mixture onto greased cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes at 350°.

4. While cookie is baking, make whipped meringue topping by beating together 2 egg whites and 1 c brown sugar.

5. Remove cookie from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips and walnuts. Cover with meringue topping.

6. Bake 15 minutes more at 350°.

7. Cut when warm and enjoy!
