1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups corn syrup
1/4 cup hot water
1/2 tsp white vinegar
1 egg white, stiffly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, syrup, water and vinegar and cover. Place over heat. Heat to boiling. Remove cover for 5 minutes. Cook to hard ball stage. Remove from heat. Cool slightly. Add gradually to egg white; beat until stiff. Add vanilla and nuts; mix well. Drop by tablespoonful onto wax paper and cool completely.
