1-1/4 cups powdered sugar
1 cup Land O Lakes butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1-1/4 cups powdered sugar, 1 cup butter, egg, and 1 tsp vanilla in large bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add flour and baking soda; beat until well mixed. Divide dough in half; wrap each half in plastic food wrap. Refrigerate until firm (at least 2 hours)

Pull dough out and allow to thaw. Heat oven to 375 F. Roll our dough on lightly floured surface, one-half at a time, to 1/8 to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters. Place 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 6 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely and frost cooled cookies as desired.
