2 c. brown sugar
2 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. crisco
4 eggs
3 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
4 1/2- 5 c. flour
2- 12 oz. pkgs. chocolate chips

Directions:

Cream butter, crisco, and sugars together. beat well. Add eggs. beat well. Add the rest of dry ingredients (add flour 1 c. at al time and beat) add chocolate chips. Refrigerate until cold and then drop by spoonful onto baking pans. Bake @ 350º 9-11 minutes.

You can also make 10" rolls of dough, wrap with plastic wrap, then wrap with foil. Store in freezer to have cookie dough always ready!
