1 c. flour,
1/4 c. salt,
2 tbsp. cream of tartar,
1 c. water,
2 tsp. food coloring,
1 tbsp. vegetable oil.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, salt and cream of tartar in medium saucepan. Combine water, food coloring and vegetable oil. Add to flour mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes. When it forms a ball in the center of the pan, turn out and knead on a lightly floured surface. Store in an airtight container or a plastic bag.

This works great for grandparents when the kids have no toys at your house. It is edible, but not very tasty so you don't have to worry about the little ones.
