2 C. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. ginger
3/4 C. molasses
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
6 T. shortening (melted)
4 tsp. boiling water
Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients. Combine shortening, molasses & boiling water. Add to dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Chill dough. Roll 1/4" thick bake in oven at 375º until brown.
