1 1/4 C. Shortening
2 C. Sugar
2 Eggs (beaten)
1 tsp. Vanilla
4 C. Flour
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, shortening, flavoring and eggs. Work in flour and make into 2 rolls. Let stand in refrigerator for 48 hours. Cut in thin slices and spread cookies with following mixture.
1 Egg White
3 tbsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 C. Ground Walnuts

Bake for 8-10 minutes at 375°
