Mocha Cream Filling Recipe

1/2 C. Sugar
1 Square Chocolate
1 tbsp. Instant Coffee
3 tbsp. Flour
1 tbsp. Cornstarch
1 C. Milk
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 C. Heavy Cream
6 to 10 Marshmallows

Cook together until thickened: sugar, chocolate, instant coffee, flour, cornstarch, milk and salt, stirring constantly. Allow to cool.
CAUTION: Mixture cools and thickens very quickly. Stir in vanilla. Whip cream until stiff, completely fold about 2/3 of it into the chocolate mixture. Then partially fold in remainder to achieve a marbled effect. Pour into a baked pie shell. Place the marshmallows on top of the filling to give a polka-dot effect.
