2 c. sifted flour
3 T. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. milk
2 c. corn
1 T. melted butter
2 eggs
Fat for frying
Finely chopped onions if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Combine milk, corn, and melted butter. Add to flour mixture, blending well. Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly. Add onion to batter. Drop by spoonful into deep fat. 375 degrees. Fry until golden brown. Drain and serve hot.
