1 cup flour
1 cup finely chopped almonds
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup Crisco
2/3 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup light corn syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325

In large bowl mix together flour and finely chopped almonds.

In saucepan melt butter and crisco together. Stir in brown sugar and light corn syrup and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring frequently. Remove from the heat and gradually stir into the flour and almond mixture.

Drop the batter by 1/2 tsp about 3 inches apart on an oiled baking sheet.

Bake for 8 - 10 minutes. Let cool completely before removing from baking sheet.
