2 sticks butter 3 c. butter 1/3 c. plus 1 tbsp. 5 eggs 3 c. flour 1 c. milk 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Cream butter, crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Add flour and milk alternately, starting with flour and ending with flour. Add flavoring. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan in a preheated 325ºF oven for 1 1/2 hours. Let cool 15 minutes and remove from pan.
