Personal Notes:
This is a recipe that our Mom always made for the big 4th of July celebration in Evanston for our family breakfast. I still make them today on the 4th.
On 7/4/1963 Dick Keeran came to visit the Cummings for the first time. Marion was making her usual Blueberry Muffins and accidentally put in four times the amount of baking powder thus having to make a batch that literally covered the kitchen counters with muffins. We wondered what Dick must have thought!
