2 lbs sausage rolled into 1 1/2 iinch balls (can use ground beef) 2 20oz. cans of chunk pineapple - drained, reserve 1 cup liquid 1 cup real lemon juice 1/3 c. brown sugar 2 T. soy sauce 1 tsp. ginger 2 T. cornstarch 2 green peppers (chopped)
Brown meatballs and drain. Combine reserved pineapple juice, lemon juice, sugar, soy sauce and gineger in a cup. Stir 2 T. lemon juice into the cornstarch and set aside. Add remaining lemon mixture to skillet. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes. Add pineapples and peppers. Gradually stir in cornstarch mixture. Simmer 20 minutes. Serve hot.
