1 3 to 3 1/2 lb. chicken
1 med onion
2 T. fat
2 T. vinegar
2 T. brown sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice (fresh, frozen or canned)
1 c. catsup
3 T. Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 T. prepared mustard
1 cup water
1/2 c. chopped celery
salt
red pepper

Directions:
Brown chicken in hot fat. When done set aside. Brown onion in 2 T. fat. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes. Pour over chicken. Bake uncovered in slow oven 325 for 1 hour. Sauce may be used for meat also.
