1 chicken
1 tsp. onion powder
2 c. flour
1/4 c. crisco
enough milk to mix

Directions:
Directions:
Boil chicken in enought water to cover. About 10 cups. Remove chicken, cool and chop. Skim fat off top of broth. Add salt, pepper, and onion powder. Return broth to rolling boil. Mix flour, crisco and enough milk to form a dough. Drop by spoonfuls into broth. When dumplings are done add chicken back and cook and season to taste.
