1 chuck roast
1pkg. onion soup mix
A few peeled carrots cut in half cross-ways not lengthwise.
1 quartered sweet onion
A few quartered unpeeled Idaho potatoes
1/4 c red wine vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
In a roasting pan with cover, On top of the vegetables, put the chuck which has been sloshed with the vinegar on both sides. Sprinkle with the entire package of soup mix and cook for 1hour at 350 or 4 hours at 250 or 8 hours at 200. This is, of course, great for your crock pot.
