1 C butter
3 C flour
1 C sugar
1/2 C dark brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla

1/4 C sugar
1 Tbs cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Preheat 425º
Gently melt the butter
Place flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon & nutmeg in large bowl & whisk to combine, set aside.
Whisk the eggs & cooled butter together, then add vanilla.
Pour egg mixture into flour mixture & stir just until a soft dough forms.
Topping- place sugar, cinnamon & nutmeg in a soup plate or shallow bowl & whisk to combine.
Form dough into 1 1/2" balls and roll into cinnamon-sugar .
Place on an unlined uncreased baking sheet & flatten slightly. (I use silicon sheets)
Bake until set, 8-9 min. Cool on baking sheet for 5min.
