1 8-oz. cream cheese block, room temp.
1 stick butter, room temp
1 egg
1 t. vanilla extract
1 box yellow cake mix
1 bag chocolate chips
Confectioner's sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º.
2. With an electric mixer, cream cream cheese and butter until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Next, add the cake mix.
3. Stir in the chips, cover and refrigerate 2 hours.
4. Roll into tablespoon sized balls and then roll in confectioners sugar.
5. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
6. Bake 12 minutes, they'll be soft and gooey.
7. Cool completely.

I had to beg our friend Michael Dewar for this recipe. We now refer to these cookies as "Crack Cookies" because they are so addictive!!!
