1 cup light brown sugar
½ cup butter or margarine
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
½ cup golden raisins
¾ cup crushed pineapple, undrained
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
½ cup chopped walnuts, optional

Frosting:
1¾ cups powdered sugar
1½ tbsp. Crisco
½ tbsp. crushed pineapple and juice
1 tsp. water
¼ tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
- Beat butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until fluffy
- Add raisins and pineapple
- Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt
- Add flour mixture to the butter mixture
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto greased cookie sheet
- Bake at 375º F for 10-15 minutes

Frosting: Mix ingredients by hand. Frost cookies once cooled
