1 c. oleo, soften
¾ c. sugar
¾ c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
2 ¼ c. flour, divided
1 tsp baking soda, dissolve in 1 tsp of hot water
1 12oz pkg of chocolate chips
2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the first 4 ingredients. Stir in 1¼ c. flour, and salt. Add baking soda mixture. Add 1 c. flour and stir just till blended. Fold in nuts and chips, Roll rounded tbls of mixture into ball. With back of wet spoon flatten to about ½" thick. Bake in upper third of oven about 12 min at 375º.
