½ Cup Margarine or butter
1½ Cup Flour
1 Cup of Sugar
½ teaspoon Vanilla
1 egg
¼ teaspoon cream of tarter
¼ teaspoon Baking Soda

Cinnamon, Sugar Mixture
2 tablespoons of Sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon


Directions:

Cream butter or margarine; add about ½ of the flour, egg, sugar, vanilla, baking soda, cream of tarter. Beat thoroughly until all ingredients are combined. Add in the remaining flour and mix. Cover and Chill. In a separate bowl combine cinnamon and sugar. Shape in 1 inch balls, roll in sugar & cinnamon mixture d. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 375º oven for 10-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack
