1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 1/2 cups cold water
3 egg yolks
1 tbsp oleo
1 baked pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, salt and cornstarch with 1/4 cup water. Bring remaining water and lemon juice to a boil, then stir in the sugar mixture. Stir a little of the hot water mixture into the beaten eggs, then pour the egg mixture into the water mixture. Bring to a good boil and remove from burner. Stir in the oleo. Strain pudding to make a smooth pudding. Pour into baked crust. Spread with meringue and brown.
