1/2 cup lard
1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs, beaten
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream lard, butter and sugar together. Add the peanut butter and mix well. Add eggs
and vanilla and mix well. Add the dry ingredients that have been sifted together and mix well. Roll into balls and then roll in sugar. Pace about 2 inches apart on cookie sheet and press down with a fork making a chris cross pattern. Bake in 375º oven until delicately brown.
