Cream together:
2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening (1/2 butter)

Add:
2 eggs (well beaten, one at a time)
1 cup sour cream

Sift together:
4 cups four
2 level teaspoons of baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Mix the flower mixture into the creamed mixture. Add vanilla. Drop by rounded teaspoons on to a cookie sheet. Bake at 350º until golden brown.
