1/2 pkg (8 oz) penne pasta, cooked as package directs
1/2 lb lean ground beef
1 jar (26 oz) spicy tomato & pesto pasta sauce
1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded and divided (2 cups)
1/4 c grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg

Preheat oven 350 In saucepan, over medium high heat, cook ground beef until browned, pour off fat. Add pasta sauce. In medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 c mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese and egg. In lightly greased 2 1/2 qt baking dish. layer penne, sauce mixture, and cheese mixture. Repeat layers. Sprinkle on remaining mozzarella cheese over top. Bake 35-40 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
