1 T. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 T. butter
1 egg
3/8 c. milk or less

Mix and drop into soup by tsp. Cover and cook 10-15 minutes.

This was Grandma's recipe. I have used Bisquick many times myself.
"Grandma had the best milk I ever tasted: cold and creamy. When I grew up, I discovered that it was whole milk. Mom always bought 2%. Nowadays, everyone seems to drink skim. No wonder kids don't like milk. They don't know what they are missing."
