two 3 oz pkg orange Jell-o (sugar free okay)
1 c. boiling water
2 c. orange sherbet
1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained
1 c. whipped cream or Dream Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve jello in water. Add sherbet. Stir until melted. Add oranges. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into pretty dish and set up in the refrigerator.

This is a McFarland family favorite. It reminds us of Grandma and Grandpa McFarland (Nora and Floyd). Grandma always made this on holidays. Evan Thorson still requests it at holiday gatherings.
Grandma entered it in our church cookbook: 1978 Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sandwich, IL. Many of the recipes she used are in that cookbook. (The Babish family entered this too as a family favorite and memory of Grandma.)
