1/2 c. sugar
yolk of egg
1 1/2 c. flour
raspberry jam

Directions:
Cream 3/4 cup salt-free butter. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar and the yolk of 1 egg. Add 1 1/2 cups flour. Knead dough. Chill several hours. Form into tiny balls. Place on greased baking sheet. Fill the hollow with jam. ( I use raspberry.) Bake in moderate oven (350 F) till light brown. When cool, they may be rolled in powdered sugar ( I never do this.) One measuring spoon/teaspoon slightly rounded is a good size for the balls. Makes about 75 cookies.
