1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1 c shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2 c canned pumpkin
3/4 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
Salt
cinnamon
nutmeg
nuts

Frosting:
3/4 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp butter
4 tsp milk
1/2 c brown sugar
Confectionary sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingred. About 1/2 - 1 tsp of cinnamon, touch of nutmeg and salt. 1/2 c chopped nuts if desired. Bake 350 til done.
Frosting: Cook all ingred except confectionary sugar til blended and cool. Stir in confectionary sugar until spreading consistency and ice cookies.
