1 pound ground beef
2 Tbls chopped onion
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 tsp garlic salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 Tbls chopped parsley
1 egg
2/3 cup milk
1 Tbls butter
2 Tbls oil
1/8 tsp curry powder
1 package frozen snow peas in pod
Sweet & Sour Sauce:
1/2 cup syrup drained from 1 13 oz. can crushed pineapple
1/3 cup vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbls cornstarch
1 Tbls soy sauce

Combine beef with onion, bread crumbs, parsley, salt, pepper, egg, and milk until well blended. Cover and chill for one hour. Shape meat into about 32 small balls. Heat butter, oil, and curry powder together in skilllet. Brown meatballs slowly on all sides, drain off fat. Stir in Sweet & Sour sauce and cook over low heat until sauce thickens and clears, stirring gently as to not break up meatballs. Pour boiling water over pea pods, cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Drain well and add to skillet along with drained pineapple. Toss and heat to serving temperature. Serve over white rice.
