12 Eggs
2 Cups sugar
1 Stick of melted butter
1 cup of oil
5 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 handful of fresh anise seeds
Powdered Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the eggs until smooth with hand or stand mixer. Cream in sugar. Mix in butter, oil and vanilla and anise seeds. Sift flour and baking soda into a separate bowl and add 1 cup at a time to mixer. Heat pizzella machine up. Put 1 tbsp of batter on each mold on the machine and close lid. Bake for 2-3 minutes until light golden brown. Place on cooling rack, once cool sift powdered sugar onto each cookie.

Requires Pizzella Machine. This recipe must be done when the weather is low humidity, otherwise the cookies will not harden and will be floppy.

To make chocolate cookies, substitute 1/2 cup of flour for cocoa.
