Cream together:
1 c shortening
1/2 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1 t vanilla
Fold in 2 beaten eggs and beat entire mixture.

Sift together:
2 1/4 c sifted flour
1 t baking soda
1 t salt

Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, stir in 12 oz pkg chocolate chips.
