1/2 C. shortening
1 C brown sugara
2 eggs
1 Cup mashed bananas
2 Cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 C chopped nuts (optional)

Preheat Oven to 375

Mix shortening, sugar and eggs, until well combined.

Add banana and mix again.

Sift dry ingredients together and gradually add the dry ingredients until all are combined.

My recipes says "chill for about an hour," but I put bowl in the refrigerator overnight.

Drop by teaspoonful about 2" apart of parchment paper. They do spread out a little, so don't put them too close.

10 minutes in a convection oven.
