2 lbs ground beef
4 lb cans canned tomatos
4 small cans tomato paste
4 cans water (tomato paste size)
1 large onion finely chopped
4 garlic cloves finely chopped
2-3 tsp oregano
1 TBSP sugar (to taste)
2 tsp italian seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Saute ground beef, onion and add garlic. Crush tomatos with your hands. Add tomato paste and water, seasonings and sugar. Simmer 3-4 hours. This is even better made a day ahead of time.

When I was growing up this was my favorite meal. I could smell it cooking as I came down the sidewalk after school. My mom made a big pot of sauce and I would have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner until it was gone!
