1 med onion
2 TBSP butter
2 TBSP cider vinegar
2 TBSP brown sugar
4 TBSP lemon juice
2 lbs ground beef
1 c ketchup
3 TBSP worchesire sauce
½ c mustard
½ c water
¼ tsp dehydrated parsley
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients together (except beef) in a sauce pan. Cook on medium high for 15 minutes. Then add raw ground beef. Cook an additional ½ hour more. Ready to serve on a bun.

Mom said she made this recipe up from scratch, to be like the “Gino Burger” which was a local restaurant’s barbecue sandwich.
