Bacon
c sugar
c vinegar
1 egg
1 tsp salt
2 heaping TB flour
spinach ( can use frozen spinach follow directions on pkg. to cook)

Directions:
Directions:
Cut up 4 or 5 slices of bacon in small pieces. Fry until crips and lift out the bacon pieces to separate dish. Discard grease. Put bacon pieces back into pan. While bacon is frying mix the other ingredients until nicely blended. Add 1 pt water (2 cups) and blend. Pour this mixture into skillet with bacon. Cook until desired thickness is reached. Pour sauce over cooked spinach or endive.
