1 c. Sugar
1 stick Butter - Melted
2 Tbsp. Anise Flavored Liquor
1 1/2 Tbsp. Whiskey
1 Tbsp. Water
1 c. Almonds - Coursely Chopped
3 Eggs
2 3/4 c. Flour
1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
2 Tbsp. Anise Seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Oven temperatre 375º

Mix all the ingredients together
Form into two long, loafs
Chill for 2-4 hours
Place on a butter cookie sheet
Bake until lightly brown
Immediately remove from oven and slice into 1/2 inch thick sections
Return to the cookie sheet and bake - turning once to brown both sides
