1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg, unbeaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. milk
Chocolate stars
Directions:
Directions:
Sift together the flour, soda and salt. Cream the shortening, sugars and peanut butter. Add the egg, vanilla and milk. Blend in dry ingredients. Roll in balls. Place on ungreased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Take from oven and press down chocolate stars in center of cookie. Put back in oven for 3 minutes.
