- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon, cloves, ginger

Directions:

Roll into balls, and roll in sugar

Press lightly

Bake at 350-375 degrees
