1 c. sugar
8 c. flour
1 c. Crisco
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. molasses (light)
1 tsp. ginger
1 c. buttermilk
tsp. cloves
6 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream, sugar, and Crisco. Add molasses, butter milk, and soda. Sift together flour, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt. Add to sugar and Crisco mixture. Mix well. Roll and cut. Bake on un-greased cookie sheets in 375 oven until golden brown.
