2 cups brown sugar

1 cup butter

3 eggs

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup nuts

1 tsp soda

4 cup flour

FILLING:

1 pkg dates

1/3 cup sugar

1/2 cup water

Directions:
cook filling til hot.

combine ingredients spread out and add layer of filling. roll up and cool overnight.

slice thin and bake.

bake at 375º 10 - 12 minutes.
