1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup butter softened
1 cup oil
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
4 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, beat sugar,powdered sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add oil, vanilla, eggs blend well. Stir in flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt.Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight. Shape dough into 1" balls, place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 375 5-8 min or until set but not brown.

These are the cookies that mom would make at Christmas. She really liked them. They are really good and much easier to make then rolled sugar cookies.
