3 large yams,
3 large sweet potatoes,
2 cups brown sugar,
1 cup milk,
1/2 cup butter,
salt & pepper,

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and dice yams and sweet potatoes. Cook in large pot of boiling water until soft. Drain water, add milk, butter & 1 cup brown sugar. Salt & pepper for taste. You may need more milk or butter, depending on how you like it. Mix with a mixer until the ingredients are mashed.

Spoon mixture into a large glass baking dish. Sprinkle remaining brown sugar onto the top and back at 350 for about 15-20 minutes. Or until the sugar carmalizes.
