1 cup shortening
1 cup molasses
2 eggs (beaten)
1 cup sugar
3 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp baking soda
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp ginger
Directions:
Directions:
Heat shortening and molasses together, till shortening is melted.Stir constantly. Slowly pour this over beaten eggs. Mix dry ingredients,together and add gradually into wet ingredients, mix thoroughly. Place in fridge for 24 hours. Then, roll into 1 inch balls and roll into sugar and place on parchment paper covered cookie sheets. Bake at 375ºF for 12 min.
