1 3/4 c. flour 1 c. oatmeal 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. walnuts 20 caramels 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk 1 c. apple pie filling 1 c. butter
Combine flour, oatmeal, sugar, soda, salt and butter until crumbly. Reserve 1/2 c. for top. Press remaining mixture into a 9x13 pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 375º. Melt caramels with the milk. Put apple pie filling over crust and top with caramel mixture. Put reserved crumbs mixed with walnuts on top. Bake for 20 minutes.
