½ cup shortening
1 2/3 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 1-ounce unsweetened, chocolate, melted
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1/3 cup milk
1 cup powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly cream together shortening, sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs then chocolate. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with milk. Chill 3 hours.

Form in 1-inch balls; roll in powdered sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet 2 to 3 inches apart.

Bake in 350° oven for 15 minutes. Cool slightly, remove from pan.
